But this will taste more muddy waters with a strict muslim backdrop.ДЄlso, after all the BO pumping of Dangal, this will be a litmus test for Aamir. It is one thing to make a film on patriarchal societal norms and women empowerment in a Hindu backdrop. The story is about the struggles of the wife (to get a divorce) and daughter (to have a singing career). It deals with an abusive husband who also does not allow his daughter to sing.
